Description

These gaskets (sealing rings) are made of high quality EPDM rubber.
EPDM is well-suited for use in a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to 248°F).

For tankwagen couplings used in chemical transport, EPDM seals provide chemical resistance to mild acids, alkalines, and water-based chemicals.
While it’s not the best choice for hydrocarbon-based products, it can be used for transporting less aggressive chemicals, especially when the couplings are exposed to environmental conditions.
EPDM's excellent water resistance makes it a strong choice for water-based applications in tankwagen couplings.
