The coupling is meant to assemble with either safety clamps or ferrules.
When ordering the MKST coupling 3", don't forget to order the locking ring (Art. 4640806)
Safety clamp of ferrule assembly is possible due to the safety collar, which provides the safest way of assembly.
As there is no thread connection, leaking is none of your concerns.
The tankwagoncoupling type MKST is produced of high quality brass according DIN EN 14420-6.
