Description
Our nickel-plated brass gates valve are te type of valves which are used to control the flow of liquids or gases through pipes. It features a brass body that is coated with nickel plating for enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
Our gate valves are equiped with female threads on both sides.
The gate valve works by raising or lowering a metal gate inside the valve body to open or close the flow path.
When the valve is open, the gate is lifted, allowing full flow; when it is closed, the gate seals the passage and stops the flow of fluid or gas.
The nickel plating on the brass valve body provides an extra layer of protection against corrosion, especially in environments where water, chemicals, or other corrosive elements are present.
Gate valves, in general, offer precise control of the flow, especially in on/off applications, where a complete shutoff is needed.
These valves are commonly used in water and gas pipelines, industrial fluid systems, and HVAC systems where precise flow control and resistance to corrosion are crucial.
The operation of a gate valve is typically controlled by a handwheel or actuator that moves the gate in a linear (up and down) motion.
Gate valves often have a full-bore design, meaning the internal diameter of the valve is the same as the pipeline, offering minimal resistance to flow when open.
The gate is designed to form a tight seal when closed, ensuring that no fluid can pass through the valve when it's in the off position.
