Akzo dustplug with male thread
AKZO polyethylene (PE) coupling for transporting heavy chemicals such as inorganic acids, bases, hydrochloric acid, diluted sulphuric acid and ferric chloride.
AKZO couplings consist of 2 parts:
The AKZO flange with collar bushing and male thread mounted on the tank.
The AKZO hose barb with union nut, with safety clamps mounted on the chemical hose.
The AKZO coupling is available in two sizes as standard:
DN50: M88x8 with right-hand thread, colour black
DN80: M110x8 with clockwise thread, colour black
In addition to the standard couplings, sealing caps, plugs, reducers and double nipples are available from DN50 or DN80 AKZO connections to BSP threads.
